摘要: In a consortium including 23 637 breast cancer patients and 25 579 controls of East Asian ancestry, we investigated 70 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in 67 independent susceptibility loci recently identified by genome-wide association studies (GWASs) conducted primarily European-ancestry populations. SNPs 31 showed an with risk at P < 0.05 direction consistent that reported previously. Twenty-one them remained statistically significant after adjusting for multiple comparisons the Bonferroni-corrected significance level <0.0015. Eight significantly different estrogen receptor (ER) status 0.05. With exception rs2046210 6q25.1, seven other stronger ER-positive than ER-negative cancer. This study replicated all five genetic variants initially Asians provided evidence associations population nearly half GWASs European descendants. Taken together, these common explain ∼10% excess familial
