摘要: Aims Despite therapeutic advances in glioma management including surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy, the improvement of patient outcome is far from satisfactory. Nucleolar spindle-associated protein 1 (NUSAP1) an important functional during mitosis, its abnormal expression implicated progression different types tumors. However, role NUSAP1 gliomas remains unclear. Methods with grades was investigated based on GEO datasets. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis used to evaluate prognostic significance. In vitro assays were also performed effects malignant phenotypes cells by silencing NUSAP1. Results correlated not only grade but prognosis patients. depletion suppressed proliferation U251 inducing cell cycle arrest at G2/M phase apoptosis. rendered impaired migratory ability as well. Conclusion a potential marker for patients strategies targeting might hold promise improving treatment.
