摘要: Abstract An empirical relation, θD = 32·37 (Ws/MV 2/3)1/2, connecting the Debye temperature (θD) and formation energy of Schottky defects in alkali halides (Ws ), is found this relation used for predicting various halides. The predicted values Ws are compared with experimental wherever possible many cases agreement between them to be well within 10%. It believed that simple here can useful a rapid reasonably accurate calculation energies vacancies
