摘要: Abstract The relationship between column packing particle size and efficiency under mass overload conditions was examined with three silica-based materials of moderate surface area (SBET range 200–500 m2 g−1). An equivalent relation reduced plate height, H/dp, relative sample load, mass/mass packing, shown for all examined, both in the adsorption reversed phase modes chromatography over a narrow velocity, udp/Dm. data were used simple calculation to establish minimum dimensions columns packed dp=5μm 20μm particles typical semi-preparative separation mixture 20 mg each two substances.
