摘要: Considerable efforts are made to integrate ecosystem services (ES) indicators into spatial planning practice. Although a lot of decision support systems already provide helpful functionalities, they not yet integrated everyday decision-making, mainly because do readily fit processes in There is an increasing awareness that the development should foster collaboration between interdisciplinary researchers and end users tools secure their suitability for such processes. Hence, user-oriented research experimenting seen as appropriate approach getting ready Guidelines conducting missing. Here, we contribute guidelines by means practical case study. The focus placed on how transdisciplinary (TD) be designed integration ES In TD project, web-based visualization platform with relevant was developed municipalities Canton Zurich, Switzerland, assigning adequate watercourse corridors according revised Swiss Waters Protection Act. A preliminary well enhanced version prototype were demonstrated different actors evaluating platform's readiness We assessed process design quality product discursive manner. Thereby, implemented set assessment criteria derived from literature adapted them study at hand analysis empirical material (participant lists, project schedule, meeting minutes observation protocols). Finally, discussed lessons learned developing significant conclusions drawn respect ensuring process. results show conceptualizing strong practice representatives increased relevance actors’ needs therefore legitimacy. Providing interfaces collaboratively translating approaches scientific models is, thus, crucial indicators. Furthermore, specifying purpose requires prototyping iterative conceptualization, need concrete examples express specific demands. This also concept treated rather open working paper than final document agreed first phase. time scheduling occupying skilled managers this taken seriously.
