摘要: We compared chromogenic in situ hybridization (CISH) with fluorescence (FISH) for assessing HER-2/neu gene amplification using tissue microarrays (TMAs) made from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded blocks 113 cases of invasive breast carcinoma. TMAs were created 0.6-mm cores 4 sampled per tumor. For both assays, a HER-2/chromosome 17 signal ratio 2.0 or more was considered positive amplification. The average the same tumor used determination status that particular Of cases, 102 tested successfully by assays. results concordant 100.0% (63 amplified; 39 nonamplified). All 22 borderline (ratio, 2.0-2.5) low-level 2.6-3.9) FISH also showed HER-2 CISH. CISH is as sensitive detecting and Reliable recognition carcinoma area light microscopy preservation test slides are added advantages performs well analysis cancer might have certain situations.
