摘要: Abstract Mesophyl cell protoplasts of Vicia faba were suspended in a solution consisting 10% sodium alginate and 0.4 M mannitol. The could be immobilized by cross-linking the presence 100 mM CaCl 2 . Changes osmolarity external medium led to reversible shrinkage swelling entrapped protoplasts. It was demonstrated using pressure probe technique that gradient (cell turgor pressure) several mbar is built up when cells transferred hypotonic solution. By complexing Ca 2+ matrix with citrate buffer released from matrix. No morphological change or alteration membrane permeability observed after storage period 14 days at 4°C
