摘要: Purpose: A previous meta-analysis showed that the association between UGT1A1*28 genotype and irinotecan-induced neutropenia was influenced by irinotecan dose risk of similar at low doses for patients with all genotypes. However, sample sizes low- high-dose groups were small. Because additional studies have now been reported, an updated refined is needed. Experimental Design: Meta-analyses done to assess relationship neutropenia. The relative extent glucuronidation (REG) SN-38 also examined. included stratified into different groups. Results: total 1,998 analysis 581 REG. significantly higher among a UGT1A1*28/*28 than those carrying UGT1A1*1 allele(s) [relative (RR), 2.43; 95% confidence interval, 1.34-4.39; P = 0.003]. In addition, RR comparable medium (2.43 versus 2.00). high (7.22 2.04). We found weighted mean difference REG (UGT1A1*1/*1 or UGT1A1*1/*28 UGT1A1*28/*28) increased increasing irinotecan. Conclusions: conclusion, associated not only but doses. dose-dependent manner explained why dependent. Clin Cancer Res; 16(15); 3832–42. ©2010 AACR.
