摘要: Multiple infections are commonly found in practical shrimp culture and may cause more serious consequences than by one pathogen only. Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the effect of multiple with white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) Vibrio anguillarum on Pacific Litopenaeus vannamei (L.), mortality, WSSV replication vivo host immune response. In single-infection group (WSSV load, 2 × 10(2) copies μL(-1)), mean cumulative mortality 29.2%. V. group, 12.5% when were challenged 10(5) CFU mL(-1) bacteria. co- super-infection groups, 37.5% 50% mortalities, respectively, observed at a lower bacterial concentration 10(3) mL(-1), suggesting that died earlier frequently singly infected shrimp. load after injection tracked over time TaqMan quantitative PCR. increased rapidly multiple-infection groups group. Additionally, mRNA expression genes encoding prophenoloxidase 1 2, which closely involved innate immunity shrimp, down-regulated extensively as indicated reverse-transcription
