摘要: The rate of pathogen elimination determines the extent and consequences an infection. In this context, spleen with its highly specialized lymphoid compartments plays a central role in clearing blood-borne pathogens. Splenic marginal zone B cells (MZ), by virtue their preactivated state topographical location, join B1 to generate massive wave IgM producing plasmablasts initial 3 days primary response particulate bacterial antigens. Because intensity rapidity response, combined types antibodies produced, splenic MZ endowed "natural memory" provide bridge between very early innate later appearing adaptive immune response.
