摘要: Background. Hereditary diffuse gastric cancer is associated with the E-cadherin germline mutations, but genetic determinants have not been identified for familial intestinal carcinoma. The guidelines hereditary are clearly established; however, there no defined recommendations management of Methods. In this study we describe Pope John XXIII's pedigree that harboured as well six other family members. Family history was analysed according to International Gastric Cancer Linkage Consortium criteria, and tumours were classified in accord last Japanese guidelines. Results. Seven out 109 members cancer, affecting two consecutive generations. clinical tumour (cTN) cT4bN3a (IV stage). cases, carcinomas histotype staged pT1bN0 pT2N2, respectively. Conclusions. presents a strong aggregation almost seven members; it spreads through absence causes considering increased risk cancer’s development these families, high mortality rates advanced stages, propose an intensive surveillance protocol asymptomatic
