摘要: We have studied the attachment of mouse fibroblasts, transformed nonmetastatic and metastatic fibrosarcoma cells to various substrates. The attach preferentially type IV (basement membrane) collagen in absence serum, compared I plastic. In presence fibronectin, these well both collagens. normal fibroblasts all substrates, although more slowly. ability plastic is correlated with levels fibronectin produced by cells. data indicate that differ from their properties synthesize matrix proteins. possess a unique system for binding could be important enabling penetrate tissues bounded basement membranes.
