摘要: Purpose: To analyze the possible relationships between high sound pressure levels in classroom and performance use of lexical phonological routes reading writing. Methods: This consisted on a quantitative exploratory study. The following measures were carried out: acoustic measurement, using dosimeter, visual inspection external auditory canal, tonal audiometry thresholds, speech recognition tests immittance; instrument for evaluation writing isolated words. nonparametric χ2 test Fisher’s exact used data analysis. results measurements 4 schools Santa Maria divided sample 87 children third fourth years primary school, aged 8 to 10 years, 2 groups. 1st group was exposed higher than 80 dB(A) (Study group) 2nd at lower (Control group). Results: Higher prevalence of correct answers in reading nonwords, reading irregular words and frequency effect observed. Predominance correct the writing of irregular words was observed the Control group. For Study group, number type errors neologism observed, especially regarding nonwords extension effect; fewer lexicalization verbal paragraphy Conclusion: In assessing skills, noise had poorer routes, both
