摘要: Neurohormones (NHs) in the cascade of arginine vasopressin (AVP) system have drawn particular attention recent years. Copeptin, C-terminal portion provasopressin, is a novel NH AVP system, and known to be co-released with from hypothalamus (neurohypophysis). As surrogate marker copeptin has gradually replaced several clinical studies largely due its structural methodological advantages. Copeptin been regarded as non-specific stress response, also suggested implications variety non-cardiovascular (pneumonia, sepsis, etc.) cardiovascular conditions (heart failure acute coronary syndromes (ACSs, etc.)). However, current data on relation other ( arrhythmias, are still insufficient. The present review primarily focuses general features copeptin, implications, specifically aims cover potential value conditions.
