摘要: Modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) systems have been shown as beneficial to prolong postharvest life of pomegranate arils. Current application such system is limited due a lack appropriate films which are able control in-package moisture condensation. Therefore, the aim this study was design MAP balance optimum gas composition with film permeability well relative humidity (RH). The following materials were used: (i) 100% cellulose-based NatureFlex (NF), (ii) bi-axial-oriented polypropylene (BOPP)-based PropaFilm (PF), (iii) NF-PF (66:33%) film, and (iv) PF-NF (33:66%) film. effects package on quality attributes arils stored at 10 °C (91 ± 2% RH) for 9 days investigated. Package had significant (p ≤ 0.05) impact in changing RH composition. (NF) created lowest (60–66%) highest reduction O2 concentration, total soluble solids (TSS), hardness, colour change, high bacterial count. However, BOPP-based (PF) resulted water vapour condensation mould growth end storage. optimized packages using films, respectively, maintained minimized results indicated that PF fitted NF window best maintain
