摘要: The transmembrane receptor encoded by the HER-2 cellular oncogene is amplified in several types of human carcinomas and provides an attractive therapeutic target. Shown immunohistology, <25% newly diagnosed ovarian express protein. However, now we report that this protein was expressed all 20 tumor cell lines derived from stage III IV cancers as well cells harvested patients with malignant ascites samples taken at a second surgery, suggesting excess expression may have selective growth advantage. HER-2-positive carcinoma were shown to be sensitive antibody-dependent cytotoxicity, their vitro proliferation inhibited anti-HER-2 MAb Herceptin. We postulate, therefore, therapy which targets more efficacious than indicated commonly low tumors removed time primary surgery.
