摘要: Abstract The prognosis of malignant gliomas is still dismal despite aggressive treatment attempts. Thus, alternative therapy strategies are needed. Malignant upon the best vascularized tumors in humans and their proliferation hallmarked by a distinct proliferative vascular component. Hence it seems to be logical consequence apply anti-angiogenic gliomas. These have shown promising effects animal models some experimental clinical studies. This review gives short introduction into molecules involved angiogenesis malignat gliomas, provides an overview latest developments glioma inhibition discusses results trials patients with high grade glioma. Additionally problem monitoring success addressed.
