摘要: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), a WHO grade IV malignant glioma, is the most common and lethal primary brain tumor in adults; few treatments are available. Median survival rates range from 12–15 months. The biological characteristics of this exemplified by prominent proliferation, active invasiveness, rich angiogenesis. This mainly due to highly deregulated signaling pathways tumor. Studies these have greatly increased our understanding biology clinical behavior GBM. An integrated view signal transduction will provide more useful approach designing novel therapies for devastating disease. In review, we summarize current GBM with focus on potential molecular targets anti-signaling therapies.
