摘要: While ecological awareness and behaviors are slowly improving, we need worldwide action to ameliorate counteract humanity's aversive impact on nature. Our study develops, validates, evaluates an environmental theory of planned behavior model aimed at predicting green (i.e., environmentally-friendly) behavioral intentions using a bi-national sample (n = 162). Then, second, primarily (n = 144) is used expand the examine effects identity, operationalized as independent interdependent self-construal, intentions. The results indicate that how define our self has substantial intents protect environment. findings add previous work role self-identity provide new theoretical perspective guide policy changes increasing sustainability.
