摘要: Obesity is commonly associated with insulin resistance and hyperinsulinaemia often various metabolic abnormalities, such as dyslipidaemia elevated plasma glucose. A total of 642 study participants, 309 obese 333 nonobese individuals were included in this study. Insulin, glucose lipid levels estimated using standard protocols. The degree was calculated according to the homeostasis model assessment. All participants genotyped by PCR restriction fragment length polymorphism method. K121Q ENPP1/PC-1 gene showed no association obesity. different obesity phenotypes like percentage body fat, fat mass, HOMA-IR (homeostasis assessment for resistance). strongest associations observed under recessive dominant models. genetic has been established other population (Bacci et al. 2005). We have replicated its insulin, resistance, per cent mass a north Indian population. related significantly increased morbidity (Eckel Krauss 1998) mortality (Calle 1999). high blood pressure (Thomas 2004).
