摘要: The pattern of tissue tropism for several prototype and uncharacterized strains mouse hepatitis virus (MHV) was studied by intranasal inoculation each strain into groups neonatal Swiss mice under otherwise identical conditions. Mice were killed at intervals up to 18 days after inoculation, their tissues examined the presence MHV antigen indirect immunofluorescence. Two patterns infection apparent. Prototype 1, 3, A59, JHM, S Tettnang wt-1 produced a respiratory pattern, in which nose lung consistently involved with dissemination other organs vascular distribution. Pulmonary endothelium alveolar septal cells, but not airway epithelium, infected. An enteric observed MHV-Y wt-2 largely restricted bowel, limited abdominal lung. Intestinal lesions these severe compared those manifesting infection. These results indicate that, like coronaviruses species, different possess primary secondary organotropisms following natural route susceptible host.
