摘要: Abstract 1. Cultured rat hepatoma cells accumulate 2-aminoisobutyrate to high concentrations by a transport mechanism probably of the A type mediation. 2. Transport is enhanced presence serum. When are deprived serum rate declines over period hours; conversely addition leads hours increase in activity. In apparent K m for aminoisobutyrate uptake about 8 mM. cell much higher. 3. Addition insulin produces both an immediate and time-dependent rise. 4. The alanine diminishes concentration-dependent fashion. Competition seen absence but not when incubated at 4° C. 5. Preincubation with 1 h also removed. Cells take several recover from depression induced alanine. 6. rapidly cycloheximide. Actinomycin had no effect least h.
