摘要: Regional measurements of blood-to-tissue transport were performed in transplanted RG-2 rat gliomas using [α-14C]aminoisobutyric acid (AIB), quantitative autoradiography, and equations to express a unidirectional transfer constant. Thirty-eight intracranial tumors ten rats analyzed according location; 23 intraparenchymal tumors, eight meningeal six fourth-ventricular one third-ventricular tumor studied. Except for the small tumor, constant ( K ) AIB was similar all groups ranged from 0.031 0.038 ml/g/min. Within individual regional variation also small, although some local could be correlated with histological features. The decreased brain around and, at distance 300 µm edge, had returned values those normal cortex (0.002 ml/g/min). An average extraction fraction E 0.09 calculated tumors. low suggests that delivery water-soluble chemotherapeutic drugs should limited more by capillary permeability or surface area than blood flow. is an ideal experimental which test drug methods attempt increase
