摘要: Background: Nipple-sharing reconstruction in unilateral breast is not a new technique. Although barriers to its regular use exist, no other technique can offer nipple with all of the following: proper size, shape, color match, texture, and long-term projection. The large number flap techniques that exist for testify reconstructive challenge. Methods: This study describes 57 patients who underwent sharing as their primary mode reconstruction. Results: Overall patient satisfaction was 88 percent. Data regarding color, sensation, erectile function graft, donor-site morbidity are presented. Conclusions: These data provide physician necessary information make an informed discussion nipple-sharing Nipple should be considered viable alternative especially after irradiation where procedures contraindicated.
