摘要: The reproductive biology of the wild boar was analyzed during a period drought in Mediterranean area, Donana National Park (Spain), 1993 and 1994. Births were highly synchronized, most them occuring between February April. average litter size for litters about 1 week age 3.05 piglets per birth. This figure is below reported other populations species which are mostly intrauterine litters, hence without effect perinatal mortality. percentage breeding adult females 17%, much smaller than that found areas. These results stress decision females, rather timing reproduction or as main adjustment effort under conditions, may be common fluctuating climates.
