摘要: Previous studies from our laboratory on the feminization of male mouse reproductive tract after prenatal exposure to diethylstilbestrol (DES) showed that mRNA for major estrogen-inducible uterine secretory protein, lactoferrin (LF), was constitutively expressed in seminal vesicle mice exposed prenatally DES, but not control mice. After castration, treatment with 17β- estradiol (20 μg/kg.day) 3 days induced LF both and DES-exposed mice; however, levels DES-treated tissues were approximately 6-fold higher than those tissue.
