摘要: Abstract Background and aims Reverse J- or U-shaped associations between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) concentrations cardiovascular outcomes have been reported, which need clarifications in older adults. Physical activity, correlating with both 25[OH]D concentration health, may an effect on the dose-relationships. Methods Results At baseline, 2790 participants aged 65 years over, free of vitamin supplementation use, had assays for health related characteristics measurements, were followed up events death by to 7 15 years, respectively. The dose–response mortality risk examined using Cox regression models. After adjusting physical activity other covariates, was non-linearly associated (U-shaped, P = 0.009).
