摘要: Ponds provide vital ecological services. They are biodiversity hotspots and important breading sites for rare endangered species, including amphibians dragonflies. Nevertheless, their number is decreasing due to habitat degradation caused by human activities. The “Ponds with Life” environmental education project was developed raise public awareness engagement in the study of ponds promoting direct contact between nature, researchers pedagogical hands-on exploration A pre-post- survey set-up assess effects on consciousness, knowledge attitude changes towards associated school students aged 15 18. questions were based Likert scales pre-post comparisons used an innovative multivariate hypothesis testing approach. results showed that improved students’ attitudes biodiversity, especially amphibians. can be found or constructed urban areas despite small sized, they proved interesting model habitats living laboratories foster education, encompassing a high species fast succession.
