摘要: In generating a contour-parallel tool path, traditional offset methods usually offer an arc rounding option for superior sharp corners. For the inferior ones, however, they are left untreated. The corners harmful to high-speed machining (HSM). They should be dealt with when emerge first time; otherwise, will further inherited by successors. this paper, we presented dual procedure round given literally, conducts two offsets: at first, path is inwards, intermediate curve; then, curve outwards, outputting curve. guaranteed smooth. It used replace original path. One side effect of that many uncut regions in corner areas. These detected through Boolean operation and removed smooth clear-up paths. Finally, paths connected set linking arcs. proposed generation method implemented verified several examples. Comparative cutting simulations show has potential improve efficiency terms HSM nearly zero cost.
