摘要: OBJECTIVE: To determine the value of fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) in comparison to cut (CNB) for diagnosis malignancy focal liver lesions. STUDY DESIGN: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 68 FNAB and 49 CNB procedures performed 62 patients with RESULTS: Cytology permitted a lesion 78% cases. When punctures insufficient material were excluded (11), diagnostic accuracy 93%. For who underwent both procedures, had same accuracy, 78%, when considered separately 88% combination. Sensitivity, specificity positive predictive similar 2 techniques. The negative 64% used reached techniques combined. There no complications during execution CNB. CONCLUSION: is an effective safe method hepatic lesions, that are combined, lesions increases.
