摘要: Increasing donor yield, or the number of organs transplanted per donor, has been a focus transplant community in recent years. However, an exclusive on observed unadjusted for characteristics, ignores important differences between donors and case mixes donation service areas (DSAs). We analyzed deceased registry data from Organ Procurement Transplantation Network/Scientific Registry Transplant Recipients January 2006 to December 2009 (N = 32 116 donors). Overall yields kidney were modeled using ordinal logistic regression, regression was used model heart, lung, pancreas liver yields. Donor including demographics, historical information positive serology related overall organ-specific yield. This study shows potential value yield models as evaluation metrics tools that can inform DSA-wide practices management improve organ utilization.
