摘要: Melanoma differentiation-associated gene 9 (MDA-9)/Syntenin is a multidomain PDZ protein and identified as key oncogene in melanoma initially. This contains unique tandem domain architecture (PDZ1 PDZ2 spaced by 4-amino acid linker), an N-terminal (NTD) that structurally uncharacterized short C-terminal (CTD). The PDZ1 regarded the signaling while served superfamily domain. It has various cellular roles regulating many of major pathways numerous cancertypes. Through use novel drug design methods, such dimerization unnatural amino substitution inhibitors our group, may provide valuable therapeutic target. objective this review to current perspective on cancer-specific role MDA-9/Syntenin order explore its potential for cancer discovery therapy.
