摘要: Objective: Twenty-eight percent of patients with the Guillain–Barre syndrome remain able to walk unaided. Studying mild form can further contribute knowledge spectrum and explore whether this subgroup may need treatment IV immunoglobulin. Methods: Patients fulfilling National Institute Neurologic Communicative Disorders Stroke criteria for were included in a nationwide survey over 2-year period. Clinical characteristics serum samples collected prospectively. In addition, questionnaire was completed concerning course outcome disease. Results: A total 139 included. Nineteen (14%) mildly affected, 120 (86%) severely affected. Infections Epstein–Barr virus found more frequently affected ( p = 0.02). Antiganglioside antibodies less 0.03). The degree severity disease between different on day admission Conclusion: difference seems be determined an early phase Preceding infections antiganglioside influence initial immune attack, determining presence residual signs advocate use patients.
