摘要: Abstract The development of sufficient tissue engineered bone grafts for alveolar cleft osteoplasty could reduce the necessity autogenous and its donor site morbidity. aim study was to evaluate in an artificially created defect. Bone were in vitro colonizing a synthetic hydroxyapatite–tricalciumphosphate scaffold (BONITmatrix ® ) with either undifferentiated mesenchymal stromal cells (group 1) or osteogenic differentiated 2). Cells multiplied from marrow rats. Unmodified scaffolds 3) inserted into artificial maxillary defects 54 Lewis In 18 animals remained unfilled (control). After one, three six weeks rats sacrificed. defect evaluated radiologically histologically regard remaining volume diameter. Statistical analysis followed. led specific formation at margin. No complete reunion any observed within healing time. weeks, 6.86 ± 3.21 mm 3 (control), 4.08 ± 1.36 mm 1), 5.00 ± 0.84 mm 2) 5.50 ± 1.05 mm 3). diameter measured 2.63 ± 0.52 mm 2.39 ± 0.23 mm 2.53 ± 0.22 mm 2.70 ± 0.66 mm all experimental groups decreased over time, which significant group 1 ( p  = 0.014), 2  = 0.025)  = 0.048). width significantly reduced containing compared control  = 0.035) only  = 0.05). Conclusion Tissue induce pronounced controls only.
