摘要: Abstract Pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins are involved in plant responses to biotic and abiotic stress grouped into 14 families (PR-1–PR-14). Two PR5-like genes were isolated from black nightshade ( Solanum nigrum L. var. americanum ) genome, a solanaceous weed. A complete open reading frame consisting of 744 bp, coding for precursor neutral protein, DNA fragment 621 bp long, another basic obtained by using PCR amplification. Based on sequence comparisons with tobacco osmotin osmotin-like (OLPs), members the antifungal PR-5 family, these named SnOLP (neutral) SnOSML (basic). The two predicted mature 207 amino acids length contain 16 cysteine residues eight disulfide bonds common most proteins. Southern blot analysis revealed that encoded at least multigene family S. . This is first report isolation genome. Computer modeling new sequences produces structures that, according current hypotheses, indicative activity. Phylogenetic was also carried out revealing three major groups different characteristics.
