摘要: Background The high complication rates of surgically implanted port catheter systems (SIPCS) represents a major drawback in the treatment isolated liver neoplasms by hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) chemotherapy. Interventionally (IIPCS) have evolved into promising alternative that enable initiation HAI without laparatomy, but prospective data on this approach are still sparse. Aim study was to evaluate most important technical endpoints associated with use IIPCS for delivery 5-fluorouracil-based patients colorectal metastases phase 2-study, and perform non-randomised comparison historical group which administered via SIPCS.
