摘要: The protein products (p21) of the ras cellular proto-oncogenes are thought to transduce membrane signals necessary for induction cell division. However, there is uncertainty as precise role p21 in mediating ligand-membrane receptor leading differentiation. Treatment rat phaeochromocytoma cells (PC12) with nerve growth factor (NGF) results a number phenotypic characteristics sympathetic neurones, including cessation division and outgrowth neuronal processes (neurites). Here we report that microinjection antibody into PC12 inhibited neurite formation resulted temporary regression partially extended neurites, an effect which was observed up 36 h after initiation NGF treatment. Neurite induced by cyclic AMP unaffected injection anti-p21 antibody. These indicate involved phase NGF-induced has hormone-mediated responses distinct from proliferation.
