摘要: We evaluated stereotactic volume modulated arc radiotherapy (VMAT) for canine gliomas, alone (radiotherapy [RT]) and in combination with temozolomide (RT + TMZ), compared palliation. Overall disease-specific survival times were estimated. Thirty dogs palliated, 22 treated RT 20 TMZ. Complete partial responses observed 63.2% 90.9% of patients the TMZ arms, respectively, that alive at 1 year. Median palliation arm was 94 days (95% conformity index [CI] 87÷101). survivals (383 days, 95% CI 276÷490) RT+TMZ (420 280÷560) not significantly different (P = .61). Positive correlation found both ratio between target brain (relative) tumour <5% .013) a clinical presentation normal mentation .032). VMAT is feasible effective gliomas. Combining this therapy did elicit any additional improvement time.
