摘要: In syphilitic patients with or without CNS involvement the correlation of Treponema-specific IgG titre per milligram total in CSF and serum (ITPA index) is a dependable source information on synthesis treponemal antibodies CNS. This index also provides more reliable definition asymptomatic neurosyphilis. Further, discrimination between Treponema-non-specific possible. Of 261 clinical symptoms neurosyphilis, 82% had local production as shown by an elevated ITPA index. neurosyphilis intrathecal antibodies, 94% oligoclonal CSF. Comparison different protein alteration groups untreated treated neurosyphilitic showed that early diagnosis (and treatment) led to improvement impairment blood-CSF barrier reduction immune reaction However, could persist ‘scar syndrome’ even after adequately cured infection.
