摘要: The cyclin D1 (CCND1) gene is amplified, rearranged, and overexpressed frequently in human cancer, including squamous cell carcinoma. dosage of CCND1 was examined 51 primary laryngeal carcinomas, amplification the found 9 (17.6%) cases. did not correlate with age, tumor localization extension, cervical lymph node involvement, histopathological grading, epidermal growth factor receptor levels. In a univariate analysis, amplification, poor histological differentiation, high levels were correlated significantly shorter overall survival. median follow-up period 29 months, survival rate 71.4% for patients affected tumors displaying normal only 25.0% carrying amplified (P = 0.0288). multivariate extension retained statistically significant prognostic values 0.037 0.041, respectively). This first report which identified as independent Evaluation could be applicable to clinical management allowing identification prognoses.
