摘要: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have the potential to replace or restore function of damaged tissues and offer much promise in successful application tissue engineering regenerative medicine strategies. Optimising culture conditions for pre-differentiation MSCs is a key goal research community, this has included number different approaches, one which use mechanical stimuli. are subjected stimuli vivo terminally differentiated from mesenchymal lineage respond stimulation vitro. also been shown be highly mechanosensitive may present an ideal method controlling MSC differentiation. Here we overview response various stimuli, focusing on their differentiation towards lineages including bone, cartilage, tendon/ligament, muscle adipose tissue. More needed elucidate complex interactions between biochemically mechanically stimulated pathways.
