摘要: In order to study cell proliferation after ischemic infarction, a model of bilateral common carotid artery occlusion in the gerbil was developed. A comparison survival rates 15, 30, 45 and 60 min revealed that maximum duration ischemia which most (72%) gerbils were alive at 1 week. The administration pentobarbital (single dose, 30 mg/kg) postoperatively badly seizing animals increased 100%. Large, well-demarcated infarcts present posterior thalamus or midbrain 62% subjected occlusion. 60% these unilateral; 40% they bilateral. To quantitate from 12 h 25 days ischemia, injected with [3H]thymidine 4 prior sacrifice, autoradiographs prepared sectioned brains. Proliferation took place 2 7 occlusion, 24% labeled cells 6 days.
