摘要: BACKGROUND. The mortality of patients with colorectal carcinoma depends mainly upon subsequent liver metastasis even after curative operation. However, it is very difficult to predict the incidence by analyzing conventional tumor markers or pathologic findings. In current study, authors examined genetic alterations p53/DCC loci and Ki-ras in relation metastasis, investigated whether these gene could be prognostic for metastasis. METHODS. Primary tissue samples were collected at surgery from 30 no 24 Among surgery, 9 developed surgery. After extraction DNA, we loss heterozygosity mutations codon 12 patients. RESULTS. allelic DCC locus was significantly greater than who had more 2 years (19/20 :95% vs. 2/5 :40%, P < 0.05). less (6/33 :18% 6/11 :55%, CONCLUSION. study indicated that detection absence are associated metastatic potential liver. These results suggested might reliable biologic assessing resection.
