摘要: The advent of the molecular age has changed experimental cardiovascular research and continues to make these changes deeper more irreversible by day. Gradually over last 12 years dogs cats, classical animals in sciences, became unfashionable for a variety reasons, some them nonscientific (i.e., new legislation, expense, also avoid clashes with animal rights activists etc.). They were replaced rabbits rats (less expensive, but not necessarily better suited) and, recently, transgenic mice. This description changing preferences shows that all have their roots opportunities approaches. That was be expected because problems can reduced exercises gene expression. Acute effects most pharmacological are solved utilizing approach, although screening agents uses genetically altered cells animals. Gene expression studies appropriate when studying chronic adaptation tissues change environment or organs, like pressure overload, growth blood vessels hypoxia, name only few. Molecular biology assumes its prominent place today it promises paradigm shift modern medicine, namely degenerative diseases amenable causal treatment structural elicited substituting failing weakly expressed genes mutated correct copy. It envisaged atherosclerosis organ manifestations will avoided therapy already existing threatening arterial occlusions compensated stimulation angiogenesis arteriogenesis. Since methods likelihood less expensive than surgery …
