摘要: A zero-power plasmonic microelectromechanical system (MEMS) device is capable of specifically sensing electromagnetic radiation and performing signal processing operations. Such devices are highly sensitive relays that consume no more than 10 nW power, utilizing the energy in detected to detect discriminate a target without need any additional power source. The can continuously monitor an environment wake up electronic circuit upon detection specific trigger signature radiation, such as vehicular exhaust, gunfire, explosion, fire, human or animal, variety sources from ultraviolet visible light, infrared, terahertz radiation.
