Chemoradiotherapy after Surgery Compared with Surgery Alone for Adenocarcinoma of the Stomach or Gastroesophageal Junction

摘要: Background Surgical resection of adenocarcinoma the stomach is curative in less than 40 percent cases. We investigated effect surgery plus postoperative (adjuvant) chemoradiotherapy on survival patients with resectable or gastroesophageal junction. Methods A total 556 resected junction were randomly assigned to alone.
