Structural and Optical Dispersion Characterisation of Sprayed Nickel Oxide Thin Films

摘要: Crystalline and non-crystalline nickel oxide (NiO) thin films were obtained by spray pyrolysis technique (SPT) using acetate tetrahydrate solutions onto glass substrates at different temperatures from 225 to 350℃. Structure of the as-deposited NiO have been examined X-ray diffraction (XRD) atomic force microscope (AFM). The results showed that an amorphous structure low substrate temperature (Ts = 225℃), while higher Ts ≥ 275℃, a cubic single phase film is formed. refractive index (n) extinction coefficient (k) calculated corrected transmittance reflectance measurements over spectral range 250 2400 nm. Some optical absorption parameters, such as dispersion energies, Eo Ed, dielectric constant, e, average values oscillator strength, So, wavelength λo plasma frequency, ωp, evaluated.
