摘要: Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs or miRs) are small 19–22 nucleotide long, noncoding, single-stranded, and multifunctional RNAs that regulate a diverse assortment of gene protein functions impact on vast network pathways. Lin-4, noncoding transcript discovered in 1993 named miRNA, initiated the exploration research into these intriguing molecules identified almost all organisms. miRNAs interfere with translation posttranscriptional regulation their target multiple biological actions exerted by genes. In cancer, they function as both oncogenes tumor suppressor genes displaying differential activity various cellular contexts. Although role has been extensively investigated, less is currently known about upstream regulatory miRNAs. This chapter focuses factors processes involved miRNA regulation.
