摘要: It has been proposed that dietary linoleic acid lowers blood pressure (BP) by being converted to arachidonic and prostanoids of the two-ene series. We tested effects on plasma acid, pressure, viscosity, RBC cation transport. Oleic major monounsaturated fat which is not a prostanoid precursor, was used as control. Seventeen adults consumed 23 g/d or oleic provided genetic variants safflower seed, each for 4 weeks in double-blind crossover design. Linoleic acids were enriched significantly cholesteryl esters, phospholipids triglycerides during respective periods supplementation but there no increase arachidonate. Mean BP 116.1/76.8 ingestion 113.6/74.6 (p = 0.09 systolic, p 0.12 diastolic). The power study over 75% detecting significant less than 0.05) effect mm Hg systolic diastolic BP. Whole Li/Na countertransport, Na/K cotransport, Na pump systems (Vmax) unchanged protocol. Therefore, variations are unlikely have several membrane-dependent erythrocyte functions related hypertension.
