摘要: The ability of grafted fetal ventral mesencephalic dopaminergic (DAergic) neuroblasts to reinnervate the unilaterally DA denervated rat striatum and improve motoric asymmetry has been well documented in several laboratories. importance host target specificity, catecholamine (CA) neurotransmitter species, grafts ameliorate rotational responses apomorphine affect electrophysiological characteristics striatal neurons not systematically studied. We lesioned Sprague-Dawley rats with 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) verified lesions using (0.05 mg/kg, s.c.)-induced behavior. Some animals subsequently received, intrastriatally, either from mesencephalon that normally innervate striatum, or arcuate nucleus do not. Additionally, two other groups were included received a CAergic graft noradrenergic locus coeruleus cerebral cortex, which projects but does contain neurons. Only able reduce apomorphine-induced rotations normalize cell firing rates; rates 1.43 Hz +/- 0.22, 6.03 0.73, 4.71 0.74, cortex 4.36 0.45. Moreover, only produced dense tyrosine hydroxylase (TH)-immunoreactive nerve terminal network striatum; contrast, did striatum. In striata, few very long TH-positive axons seen. thus conclude specificity type are critically important functionally 6-OHDA
